• 1. Alerting.

  Alerting is easy with FieldCommander technology. Many sensors and devices can be connected with FieldCommander. You define your alarm conditions and FieldCommander will alert you when required.
  Using the communication possibilities of FieldCommander you can even setup a complete message server easily.
  

• 2. M2M; remote control/monitoring.

  Using FieldCommander technology, remote control and/or monitoring has become easy.
  - using another FieldCommander
  - using a webbrowser like Internet Explorer on PC, PDA or notebook
  - using a (mobile) phone with SMS
  - using a phone with keyboard codes
  A FieldCommander device can act as a remote data acquisition unit, sending info to the central Service center or hosting application.

• 01. Speech/voice communication.

  FieldCommander supports:
  - speech/voice-message on a PA(voice-announcements)-system
  - speech/voice messaging, combined with DTMF; supporting an analog (PSTN) telephone
  - speech/voice messaging with a GSM(07.05)-based modem to support mobile phones
  

• 02. SMS; Short Message Service.

  FieldCommander supports text messages:
  - using a GSM modem/adaptor) or
  - using internet and the UCP protocol to communicate with the SMS service provider
  

• 03. Email(SMTP) communication.

  FieldCommander supports email
  - in plain ASCII code only or with HTML coding
  - with or without attachments
  

• 04. MMS communication.

  FieldCommander supports MMS (multimedia)-messaging to mobile phones.
  

• 05. GPRS/UMTS communication.

  FieldCommander supports data communication on mobile networks.
  

• 06. PPP protocol.

  Using the PPP protocol in FieldCommander it is possible to create a TCP/IP communication link over a basic communication line. A basic communication line can be a simple RS232-RS232 connection or a telephone connection (analog or mobile). So PPP allows remote connections easily, for example for a telemetry application or remote communication between FieldCommanders. And even data sharing(FTP) is remotely possible.
  

• 07. XML webservices.

• 08. Pager(ESPA) communication.

  A pager system can be linked to FieldCommander also, because the ESPA4.4.4 protocol is supported (FCOpt160).
  

• 09. Textdisplay.

  A text display is supported to communicate in a call center or traffic control center.
  

• 10. DECT communication.

• 11. VOIP communication.
